The water method is so tricky because the chance of the leafs rotting it's greater🥲. I'm trying to propagate in perlite. 🤞

What is LECA?

They look great! That is encouraging growth in 5 months! I don’t use semi-hydro, but mine are looking good.

Did it survive? They say to cut off bougainvillea pots or simply cut holes in the small pot so you don’t disturb their fussy roots, and you gave a big pruning. How is it doing now?

Is that perlite?

All that’s left from my Costco one is a new growth. I had to cut it off the main stalk to save it. I think it got water logged. Can the stalk itself be salvaged? I watered it once a week as instructed but it was obviously too much. Can I put anything in the water to make the cutting root faster? Thanks for sharing.
